Ingredients
  

Cake Base

  • 1 box cake mix any flavor
  • 1 cup frosting any flavor

Coating

  • 2 cups chocolate or candy melts melted
  • sprinkles optional, for decoration
  • Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  • Crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  • Add the frosting and mix until combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 40 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate or candy melts.
  • Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  • Decorate with sprinkles if desired and let the coating set.
